Cargo Transportation between Thailand and Cambodia amid Border Tensions
Amid rising tensions along the Thailand–Cambodia border, which have disrupted cross-border operations at the Poipet / Aranyaprathet checkpoint, Asiatrans promptly implemented an alternative transportation route to ensure uninterrupted cargo movement.
The newly applied route is as follows:
Thailand – Mukdahan / Savannakhet Border Gate – Densavanh / Lao Bao Border Gate – Moc Bai / Bavet Border Gate – Cambodia.
This solution not only helps maintain the Thailand–Cambodia supply chain during the period of border tension, but also demonstrates Asiatrans’ flexibility and strong operational capability in effectively utilizing the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) economic corridors.
