Asiatrans Launches New Cambodia–Thailand Transport Route via Laos
As the Poipet / Aranyaprathet border checkpoint remains closed, trade activities between Cambodia and Thailand have been forced to reroute. Instead of traditional crossings, cargo has been diverted via Vietnam’s international seaports or transported by road transiting Vietnam and Laos.
Effective from October 7, 2025, Asiatrans officially launched a new direct road transport route connecting Cambodia and Thailand via Laos only. The route operates through the Trapeang Kreal / Nong Nokkhiane border gate between Cambodia and Laos, offering customers a more flexible and efficient logistics solution.
Compared to routes via Vietnam and Laos, the new route helps reduce transit time by approximately one-third, ensures fast and stable cargo handling for time-sensitive shipments, and optimizes transportation costs, thereby supporting supply chain efficiency.
Asiatrans continues to strengthen its cross-border logistics network, committed to providing fast, safe, and efficient transportation solutions for customers across the region.
